Mission:

To increase community acceptance and improve the quality of life for adults with serious mental illness by facilitating meaningful work, education, housing, and social opportunities.

What is Club Horizon?

Club Horizon, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is a psychosocial rehabilitation program serving adults, age 18 or older, with mental illness.  Club Horizon is based on New York's Fountain House model.  (Fountain House, which opened its doors in 1948, still operates successfully).

Members receive psychosocial services through Club Horizon's program of meaningful work and meaningful relationships.  Members work at their own speed to regain the confidence and skills necessary to lead vocationally productive and socially satisfying lives.

Mentally ill individuals can be served at Club Horizon for approximately $55.00 per day compared to approximately $835 per day in a state mental hospital.

Supported Housing:

Club Horizon offers a housing program that assists members with finding more independent housing.  Club Horizon staff helps members move into their homes and provides support to ensure that rent is paid on time.

The idea of independent living is to help foster growth as an individual and to create a sense of belonging within the

community and amongst neighbors.
